This was a first go with the DJI Mini 4 Pro, a drone not specifically designed for this kind of work. Flown by hand in multi-level orbits and processed in WebODM (desktop) with default settings, except for enabled rolling shutter compensation. I didn’t bother to clean off the edges; just wanted to see how the little drone did. I’d say not too shabby. From 219 photos. Took 11.5 minutes on a mid-high PC with Intel/Nvidia, 64 GB RAM. The Mini 4 Pro does a remarkably good job with mapping overall. The maps are internally accurate and useful, though not geo-referenced since there is no RTK and typically no PPK available.
