The Sarinah Building is a building 74 meters high and 15 floors located in Gondangdia, Menteng, Central Jakarta. This building mainly functions as a shopping center. This building is owned by Sarinah, which also has its head office in this building with its parent, PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia (Persero) (Injourney). The building, which is located on Jalan MH Thamrin, began construction on 17 August 1963 and was inaugurated on 15 August 1966 by President Soekarno. This building is the first department store building in Indonesia and is also the first skyscraper in Jakarta.
