One of the unmistakable heroes from the Transformers franchise, Bumblebee is an Autobot locked in the struggle to protect Earth and humanity from the Decepticons. His distinctive yellow-armor and Camaro car-form have garnered many admirers, but it is his steadfast loyalty and willingness to lay down his life that has enshrined him as a major icon of the Transformers phenomenon.

From a modeling perspective, Bumblebee presented several challenges. While roughly humanoid in form, the complex structure of mechanical features and countless incongruent edges required careful attention and detail. The final product features over a million faces and nearly 800,000 vertices.
