Burin (NHMW-PRAE-44.454)3D Model
3D scan of a 86 mm long simple dihedral burin. The artefact is made of gray-brown semi-translucent chert. It surfaced in layer 9 of the Willendorf II site in the Wachau Region in Lower Austria and constitutes one of the numerous lithic artefacts found in the same layer as the Venus of Willendorf.
