Burnt D-Ware Vessel with Spiral Decoration

Squat d-ware vessel likely dating to Naqada II of the Predynastic period. The vessel is decorated with red-painted spirals, a common motif in predynastic pottery dating to the Naqada II era. The pot has been badly burnt, although it is unclear if this occurred pre or post-excavation.
