3D Scan version of my little Japanese room
Process: 1- To take 19 Photos from different angles. 2- Upload these photos to 123Catch 3- Wait A LOT to receive the 3d model (Or use a 3Dscan Software, but my PC sucks…) 4- To import in 3D-Coat and re-touch all the ugly maps (yes, it’s worst in the beginning) Save your High Poly version! 5- For retopology export the model to Zbrush (3dCoat is not so good) and use Zremesh and create new UVMaps in Zbrush (or 3DCoat) 6- Now you have a High Poly and a Low Poly Version but the UV Maps are a mess! Let’s fix it: 7- Import both models to 3DMax (the high poly version has the original maps and uvs, the Low Poly Version has the UVs from Zbrush or 3DCoat) 8- Align both models, select the Low poly version and use Projection to render a Difuse and Normal map. (You can use Xnormal with similar results) 9- Enjoy!
