More model informationFor my studies, Creative Media & Game Technologies, we were given the opportunity to make a few portfolio pieces this year. My knowledge about texturing and rendering was minimal, so I did a lot of research and practicing in Maya and Substance Painter during this second quarter. I experimented with the objects that I modeled during the first quarter, which is the isometric room model of a café. Part of my research was to upload one of the practice objects to my online portfolio, to practice the workflow of showcasing your model online. In this post you can see a cake, modeled in Maya, with details sculpted in ZBrush, and baked and textured in Substance Painter.
