Description
This model is a digital restoration of the statue of muse Calliope in the Prado Museum. The statue was digitally reconstructed digitally before being recolored. The color pallete was based on historic paintings of Calliope, in hopes of creating an accurate restoration of how the statue would have looked during its time at Hadrian’s Villa in the South Theater. She is holding her wax tablet attribute as the muse of epic poetry.
