Cambodian house, the "Chinese bloc"Your model is disabled. For more details go to Edit properties3D Model
This type of blocs architecture totally invided cambodia’s landscape. Now becoming traditional, they were oftenly reported as “Chinese blocs”. The definition would be “house with shared walls”..... This now common model of housing offers a mimnimum opening to natural light and usualy shows quite bad air circulation. Despite those common problems it’s been adopted for its compact configuration allowing people to develop their own activity on the ground floor and keep the rest of the house for private purpose.... Also must be playing the fact that you don’t need an architect to plan anything....any brick layer in Cambodia will tell you …no problem, I know how to do.... This guy in the model, standing alone and waiting for the neighbours to pop their homes from ground has been shot in the suburbs of Phnom Penh.
