Vertex Count (per Weapon) - @14000 (+Extra for accessories, magazine, and parts for later FAL/SLR)
Poly count (per Weapon) - @15000 (+Extra for accessories, magazine)
Materials (per weapon): 7(1 for magazine, 1 for Muzzle device) - maps at 2048x
Low Poly and limited High-poly mesh created in 3DS Max , baked in xNormal
Textures: Hand-paint in Photoshop
** Brief**
Commission for the C2A1-specific parts, for inclusion in NIArms and private use, but when I went to the mesh they were being attached to (which are at this point nearly 15 years old) I realised how out of spec they were and decided to just do the rest of the weapon.
Starting point for the barrel and reciever were from Pete (from Counter-Strike modding scene)and carved, smoothed, rebuilt as needed.
Textures are mostly done the oldschool way- no bakes, normals from hand painted displacement maps (Exception is the wood parts - HP+LP+bakes for woodgrain).
