More model informationCañón de hierro fundido, de fabricación inglesa del periodo Tudor, 1575-1595. Junto con otras evidencias de artillería del periodo colonial forma parte del sitio Byron 15, localizado en la isla Byron, archipiélago Guayaneco, Región de Aysén. El sitio fue reportado por el buzo Oscar Pedreros de Puerto Natales y reconocido arqueológicamente por ARQMAR en 2018 en colaboración con el Museo Regional de Aysén y apoyo de CORFO. El expertizaje de las piezas de artillería fue realizado por la investigadora Ruth Brown. El yacimiento se localiza en el área del Proyecto Wager, investigación sobre una fragata de guerra británica naufragada en el golfo de Penas en 1741 conducida por ARQMAR con el apoyo del Centro de Investigación en Ecosistemas de la Patagonia (CIEP), la Universidad Austral, COPAS Sur-Austral y la Armada de Chile.
