Canons Ashby House, longitudinal sectionsYour model is disabled. For more details go to Edit properties3D Model
This model provides longitudinal sections through each of the four ranges and the tower and clearly shows the spatial relationships between the ranges and the rooms in the house, and demonstrates the way that these levels are joined to one another. The house was fully mapped using a handheld laser scanner to produce a pointcloud of over 500 million points. This survey has allowed historic building archaeologists to examine the physicality of the house in great detail, exploring the phasing and structural relationships in ways not previously possible.
