‘Calotă cu rațe’
Hemispherical piece of limestone, decorated with seven ribs, and on the side faces are represented stylized aquatic birds. Several such pieces, having different shapes, especially the lower part, were discovered in the Sacred Area and in the emplecton of the fortification from Grădiștea de Munte – Sarmizegetusa Regia. Archaeologists, state specialists in Dacian civilization, assume that such pieces had a decorative role, most likely, within some constructions in that area.
