Capitan Antonio - Bow and Debris Field

This is the wreck of an Italian merchant ship Capitan Antonio that sank on 10 January 1987 off the coast of Santa Caterina dello Ionio (CZ) due to bad weather conditions. The wreck is now divided into the stern, bow, and a debris field - the result of the midsection being cut into pieces during the recovery of its valuable cargo: iron.
