More model information

This is my version of Captain America’s shield from the MCU. I based this model off of the shield as it appears in Avengers: Age of Ultron with the magnetic features to allow Cap to recall his shield as he wishes. However I found very little reference material for what the back of this version of the shield looks like so I improvised it and created some small emissive areas where the straps initially would have been to appear as electro magnets. I’m very happy to have finally done this model as Cap is my favourite marvel character and I always found myself staying away from this idea. I’m happy with the results though and if I come across any references that give me better insight into the original design I will come back and update this model. The mesh was created in Maya and the textures were created in Substance Painter and rendered in 2k.
