this work is based on the Concept of Johannes Helgeson named “D&D Bard Doomsparkle”. when i was making this piece i could not help myself to think him as Captain NEMO from the book “20 thousand leagues under the sea” by Jules Verne. so i gave the title of this art Captain Nemo, the mysterious captain of the Nautilus. i sculpted and did the basic color painting on the highpoly mesh on Zbrush retopology was done in Blender AO and Vertex color was baked in Substance Painter painting was done in 3DCoat and Photoshop.
Original Concept: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/A9exGe that’s it. thanks and have a great day. Oh! in case you haven’t read 20 thousand leagues under the sea, give it a try. it’s a fantastic book.
