More model informationWhile the čardak type of vernacular architecture is a particularly recognizable feature, with a somewhat defensive/fortification character, as time went on, čardak became a description used for a number of features that did not really correspond to the original meaning. The structure in this model is called čardak, but its use is not intended as living space/housing (as čardak’s do have this purpose), but rather as a storage facility for corn and other products. The timber has likely been appropriated from other, older structures and re-used on a newly built brick base. Structure has been constructed some time past the 1970. Model was made by terrestrial photogrammetry.
