The 155 ft schooner Carlingford was built in Port Huron, MI in 1869. In 1881 it sank after a collision with iron steam barge Brunswick which also sank after the collision. It lies in 100 ft of water with an intact hull and many sailing machinery artifacts on the deck. The collision damage is also visible on the port side. The model was created from 1,737 30 megapixel images shot by Ken Merryman on one dive in 15 ft of visibility.
