This coastal site exposes cone sheets (dipping basalt dikes) that intrude near-vertical Silurian metasediments. There is a small ‘missing’ patch (of no consequence) that isn’t showing up on the built model, only on the upload… For a higher resolution image of the right-hand side of the outcrop, visit my gigamacro image at https://tinyurl.com/y2csmnwp This allows you to see the plagioclase concentrations in the centre of one of the cone sheets, as well as a clearer view of the metasedimentary beds, and the barnacles and lichens.
