Carter Collection Walnut Round Table

This small round table made from walnut is paired with four green wood dining chairs (see our 3D model from scanning showing 1 of 4 of these chairs: see - https://skfb.ly/osWGr. The chairs are made of hard maple with woven, green wood seats. This furniture, made by 39th President Jimmy Carter, is part of a 3D digital documentation and archival program being undertaken by the Center for Digital Heritage and Geospatial Technologies in the University of South Florida Libraries and is in collaboration with the Carter Family, the National Park Service, and the Friends of the Jimmy Carter Historical Park. Today, this small, elegant, yet simple walnut table and chairs are part of the furnishings of the Presidential home in Plains, Georgia.
