Name: Coining Roman rule? The Emergence of coinage as money in the Roman world
Purpose: The project aims to answer various questions related to the early adoption of coinage in the Roman world, specifically its social and political significance. The digital visualisation techniques are meant to allow the museum visitor to closer inspect and interact with these small items in alternative ways to the common cabinet display with text signs.
