Laguna Seca race track (named after dry lagoon it’s built on) is 3.602 km long circuit in Central California. It was built in 1957 near Salinas and Monterey and is used for car and motorcycle racing. Laguna Seca is famous for one of the worlds most recognisible corners - Corkscrew. It’s combination of turn 8 and 8A out of 11 total corners. Corkscrew is a left-right chicane that makes drivers plunge downhill while all they see ahead is blue sky of sunny California and a few tree tops.
