More model informationThis carved/incised ancient Maya jar fragment was recovered from a sinkhole near the ancient Maya site of Pacbitun, Belize. It is an unusual form for that area and is an otherwise unique style of pottery in the caves from that site. It likely dates to the Terminal Classic to the Early Postclassic periods (800-1200 CE).
