More model informationThis late Neolithic (c.3200-2400 cal BC) carved stone ball was found in House 3 at Skara Brae, Orkney during excavations in the 1860s. This artefact is manufactured from camptonite, a dense rock that can be found in dykes across west Mainland.
This artefact exhibits 67 pyramidal knobs in seven bands.
