Cast Iron Citrus Juice Press3D Model
A manual lever press citrus juicer that is made from heavy cast iron. This piece was documented with a structured light scanner, and is part of a digital collection of foodway and homestead artifacts and items that the USF Center for Digital Heritage and Geospatial Information documented for the creation of online digital collection library materials. This juicer is from the National Register of Historic Places and landmark site of the Giunta Homestead, in the Eastern Ybor City neighborhood of Tampa. Today, the homestead is maintained and operated by sisters Vicki and Tessie Giunta, with the property and ways of life much the same as when their family first arrived in the area and later built their home in 1924.
