Cast of "La Marseillaise" 3D Model
Cast of the head of the victory genius from the statue “Le depart des volontaires” more commonly known as “La Marseillaise” made by Francois Rude 1792, one of the four main statues in l’Arc de Triomph in Paris.
The cast has been severely damaged during the demonstration in Paris when a group of people stromed in the Arch to destroy everything, including an important model of the Arch that survived world war 2.
The digital replicate was made with 34 crowdsourced images.
As a matter of fact, another cast (in Dijon) of the entire statue was produce in 1938 because of the incoming war. It was then feared the original master piece might have been destroyed during the invasion.
