Cavalry Helmet 3D Model

This cavalry helmet dates from the second half of the first century and is of the Weiler-Bassus type.
It has been made from a sheet on iron with bronze details. It is highly decorated with the cheek pieces depicting a winged cupid holding a hare and plate of fruit. The diadem has floral and allegorical scenes.
This object is loaned from a private collection and is currently on display in the Frontier Gallery at Tullie House & Art Gallery Trust.
