This foot sherd of a ceramic vessel was excavated from the Garden Creek archaeological site. Vessel feet, such as this model’s, are indicative of specific Southern Appalachian Summit Phases. This sherd is likely from a diagnostic tetrapodal vessel. This artifact, along with others excavated from the site, can be accessed through the Garden Creek Virtual Exhibit.
