Ceramic plates

The article deals with production technology and decoration technique of ceramic plates dating back to the late XVI century-the first half of the XVII century. The analysis is based on materials originated from the study of the remains of a pottery workshop in Forder Rossgarten district in Koenigsberg. The distinctive features of the decoration are the use of white and colored slip, the use of sgraffito technique and the process of coating with glaze.
