CERN ATLAS Experiment - Detector - Endcap Toroid

3D Model

The model represents the ATLAS Barrel Toroid magnet, one of the magnets used in the ATLAS Experiment at CERN, to bend the charged particles produced in the LHC collisions, to let ATLAS physicists measure their energy.

The geometry information is extracted from the ATLAS Detector Description, visualized, and dumped with VP1, the ATLAS 3D interactive visualization tool and event display.
