More model informationThis decorated orthostat is located in the passage tomb at Newgrange, Brú na Bóinne, Co. Meath, Ireland. It is situated on the right hand side of the rear recess. The stone is decorated with large areas of pick dressing. On the undressed surface, a picked spiral motif is present which consists of three double spirals. Above this, on the other undressed area, a series of lozenges have been scratched into the surface of the stone. On the southern side of the stone several picked motifs are visible including a spiral and oval.
