Chapel of Ascension or also known as the “Hollow Chapel”, is located close to Kesariani Monastery at the North foothills of Mt. Hymettus, just 6km from Athens city center. It is accesible by foot, following the path that ascents from the backyard of the Monastery in a cypress and pine forest.
