The FV4201 Chieftain was the main battle tank of the United Kingdom during the 1960s-1990s.

This example is part of the Armourgedon Museum collection based in Husbands Bosworth, Leicestershire.

The Chieftain was a beast of a machine with it’s 120mm rifled barrel and Stillbrew Crew Protection Package, but it suffered terribly from engine problems and was eventually replaced by the vastly superior Challenger tank in the early 1990’s
