Lay’s is a variety of potato chips that was founded in 1938. Lay’s chips are manufactured by Frito-Lay , owned by PepsiCo Inc. since 1970 . Other Frito-Lay brands include Fritos, Doritos, Ruffles, Cheetos, and Rold Gold Pretzels . There are five more types of Lay’s: Stix, Corrugated, Stax, Out of the oven and Maxx.
