ChM PV4282 - Thecachampsa carolinensis

A tooth from the giant crocodile Gavialosuchus carolinensis that was collected along side other teeth and jaw fragments in Dorchester County, South Carolina. The holotype for G. carolinensis was collected from Charleston, South Carolina and is also housed in The Charleston Museum alongside this specimen.

This model was collected as part of The Charleston Museum’s photogrammetry initiative.
