ChM PV7702 - Eremotherium laurillardi
A partial sloth mandible containing the 2nd and 3rd premolar. The fossil was collected in 1880. A cast has been made of the specimen and is stored with it. This specimen is cited in The Ground Sloths (Pilosa) of South Carolina (Fields et. al, 2012).
This scan was collected as part of a student project at The Charleston Museum in association with the Business Innovation Lab at The Citadel.
