Church of St. Valentine in Rakovets’ It was built in 1822-1856 in the place of the older wooden church from the beginning of the 18th century(1704) and consecrated in 1856. In 1880 the church partly burned down and was later rebuilt. This small church was built with local hewn limestone. It consisted of a rectangular nave and a semi-circular apse with a side room. There is a niche on the facade, where not so long ago, one could see a figure of Our Lady. A brick stepped pediment and the lace ridge turret completed the building. The church was closed in 1946 and most of the interior decoration was burnt down. In 1952-1980 the church was used as a warehouse. Today, only the walls of the shrine are preserved, although until recently the building was covered with ceramic roof tiles.
