The church in Berezhanka dates back to the 16th century, although it is more likely that its predecessor dates back to that time. The current wooden church was probably built somewhere at the beginning of the 18th century.
It is located on top of a high hill in the northeastern part of the village, surrounded by trees, near the cemetery. The low three-log church is finished with three tops. The only addition is a shed near the western wall of the old house.
To the left of the entrance door to the altar of the image of St. Iov of Pochaivskyi, on the right - Reverend Seraphim of Sarovskyi. Above the door is a large painting depicting St. Yuri stabbing a snake with a spear.
By the way, the gabled roof of the shed was replaced with a semicircular roof during the renovation, probably after 2009. The exterior walls, which were blue before the renovation, were painted in a light yellowish color.
