More model informationThis model shows the circumstellar disk surrounding a protostar with the magnetic field lines marked. The the disk has been cut open and coloured to depict the density and temperatures that would be found within it. The green lines are meant to trace a plane of the magnetic field to show the distortion caused by the rotating disk. The white lines represent the magnetic field lines surrounding the star.
