City of Adelaide is a clipper ship, built in Sunderland, England, and launched in 1864. Built by William Pile, Hay and Co. for transporting passengers and goods between Britain and Australia, the ship made 23 annual return voyages between 1864 and 1887 from London and Plymouth to Adelaide, South Australia. City of Adelaide is the world’s oldest surviving clipper ship, one of only two that survive – the other is Cutty Sark. (Source: Wikipedia). In 2013 she was transported from Scotland to her new home in Adelaide, South Australia, where a long-term program of conservation has commenced.

This was a challenging photogrammetric scan to produce. The hull is 74.4 metres in length, with large areas partially occluded by scaffolding and a supporting cradle. It required around 5,500 photos to obtain adequate coverage.
