Claddah Cottage in Orlando, FL has been one of the most beloved Irish pubs in the city for years. Small, intimate, community-oriented, it has bucked the trend of Orlando’s flashier establishments. It was the home of great musicians, great people, great times, and great libations, of course. Unfortunately, it is losing its home; the shopping center where the pub has lived for years is being sold to make way for a Walgreens. As if Orlando needed another one.

I stopped in one last time to collect some pics and short vids, hoping to capture a little bit of it in digital posterity. Luckily, it looks now like the pub may live on in a new location. The Claddagh loyalists, this one included, wish it nothing but good fortune.
