More model informationIn Claunch Farm (Sorbie, Dumfries and Galloway) there are a few carved rocks with prehistoric motifs. This is a decimated model of one of the largest rocks of the assemblage. The outcrop is quite prominent in the landscape. The texture of the surface is rugged, with many fissures, hollows and solution holes. The smoothest parts of the rock face were used to carve a number o cupmarks and other more complex circular motifs. Most of these are very faint and almost invisible.
