Clay Bar Mold

Mold used for making clay bars/briquettes in the Ceramic Technology Lab, Florida Museum of Natural History. Sample clays are used to assess the characteristics of resources available to potters in the past. Each bar is divided into 6 segments (briquettes) that are fired to different temperatures.
