More model informationA coal dram from Rhondda Heritage Park. Rhondda Heritage Park in the site of the Lewis Merthyr colliery, just outside Pontypridd in the Rhondda valley. Hundreds of drams like this were used underground to transport coal from the coal face to the winding shaft and the surface. In the early days the drams were pulled by horses.
