Replica of the well-preserved Babylonian law code of ancient Mesopotamia: 1754 BC . Original in Louvre Excavated by a French team in Khuzestan, Iran, in 1901 headed by Jacques de Morgan.
The original was moved to Louvre, Paris and after the opening of Archaeological Museum of Tehran, it was dedicated an exacte replica to Iran.
The Code of 282 laws is inscribed in a 2.25-metre stele in cuneiform script. At the top part of the stele, the god Shamash (خورشید), the god of Justice delivers the divine laws to the king Hammurabi.
This model was made with 23 photos captured by a simple compact camera with low resolution.
