A coin bank that is in the shape of a rabbit home, most likely made of clay. It consists of a carrot house with a door, windows and two adorable rabbit figurines. One is holding a carrot and the other a an oddly coloured purple egg. All of this sits on a grassy knoll with flowers.
This object has been sitting at the top of my bookshelf for as long as I can remember. It belongs to my mother, from before she had me, although she does not remember when and how she got it. It’s much too beautiful to really be used for storing coins as I would never have the heart to smash it open should I need the coins one day.
