More model information

A multi-ton metal part cleaning machine captured with Artec Leo & Artec Ray II. Impossible to manually model without losing vital details, this highly detailed digitization includes tiny features that would ordinarily be tricky to replicate, including wiring, piping, and an electrical box.

The Ray II [https://www.artec3d.com/portable-3d-scanners/laser-ray] visual inertial system (VIS) made capturing the wider unit quick and easy, while Leo’s wireless functionality allowed every inch of its surface to be captured in high detail. To achieve the highest possible resolution, user HEMO combined the two scans on Artec Studio, doing so in a single click, to create a lifelike prop for a promotional VR simulation [https://www.artec3d.com/portable-3d-scanners/artec-leo].

Scanning time: 4 hours. Processing time: 15 hours.
