It is possible to convert Munsell colours into colours produced by an sRGB system. Researchers have calculated correspondences between Munsell colours and sRGB values. These mappings account for standard lighting conditions, such as Illuminant C or D65. These tables are often published online or in specialised resources.
Only chips whose colors fall within the gamut of the sRGB color space are shown.
In order for the displayed sRGB colours to be in agreement with the Munsell colours, three conditions must be met: 1. The display device must be sRGB-compliant, 2. The display device must be colour-calibrated, and 3. The ambient illumination should be diffuse Illuminant C lighting, at intensity levels characteristic of indirect daylight.
