The third iteration of my main character’s weapon. This glaive is the most lightweight of the other versions, allowing for the end blades to be detached and thrown with less difficulty. The blades themselves are the key upgrade, having been forged of layered elbritite ore also in the style of Damascus steel. The compound pole was cut from an ancient white oak, cured, and hardened to keep the core integrity strong. Metal reinforcement in the form of bands and rings guard against potential breakage, with two wraps of draigryph hide helping to keep the key grips wear and slip resistant. The mounted phylacteries have also been upgraded, with two large diamonds enchanted with light magic to turn the whole weapon invisible (when combined into one). Two blue sapphires have also been imbedded directly below the blades to increase the density of bound light particles, with four refined rubies powering the conjured blades of the central pole.
