More model information

Download fo your 3D projects or make your own out of foam!

This model supliments my Etsy downloadable Pepakura paper to EVA Foam build. You can use this model in browser (without downloading) to look at how the droid is put together. I created this 3DMax model and then ported the plans to Pepakura to create the paper printable plans found on Etsy (JCulley3D).

The plans do provide dimensions for pipes that could be used (instead of Foam) to connect the neck to the wheel body, but in theory you could create the whole droid from EVA Foam based on these plans, the antenna on the back of the head can be added afterward, I suggest you use wooden craft sticks. For detail, wires can also be added from the lower wheel to the neck. See model:

The wheel track should be cut out as one long thin rectangle once the plans are printed (detailing lines have been left on the plans for detailing guide).
